Vantive Media Receives Outstanding Achievement Award from Interactive Media Council

Customer Relationship Management Brand Recognized as Best In Class

Boca Raton, FL (Business Wire) - Vantive Media, a global technology media publisher, today announced that it has been honored with the Outstanding Achievement award in Website Development by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC) for its Customer Relationship Management software brand.

The Interactive Media Awards™ honor recognizes that the Vantive CRM website and brand met and surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work. The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn. Of the 33 finalist entries submitted in the Computer Software category, Vantive was the sole recipient of the Outstanding Achievement award.

According to Vantive spokeswoman Edy Henao, “Winning this award exemplifies how we seek to find the balance between powerful branding, clean aesthetics, strong information architecture and accessibility compliancy. A well-designed, aesthetically pleasing and above all functional website is a critical factor in achieving a positive user experience. This recognition from the IMC is a demonstration of our ability to generate a world-class online presence and ultimately advance our mission of advocacy journalism, remarkable content, balanced reporting, community facilitation and recognition as a trusted media partner. We truly appreciate being congratulated for what we do. It is an honor for our work to be recognized by the IMA and our industry peers.”

The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMC and an extremely challenging award to win, requiring an entry to achieve an overall score between 460 and 479. To win the award, an entry has to successfully pass through the competition’s comprehensive judging system, with the judges employing a points-based scoring system which allows each entry to receive a maximum 500 points. Each entry is judged using five different criteria, with a score of 0-100 awarded for each criterion. By adhering to the specific guidelines and criteria of this system, IMA judges are able to maintain the highest degree of fairness, accuracy and integrity; competently and effectively evaluate entries; and deliver clear results. Previous award winners in the Computer Software category include SAP, Capterra, HubSpot and Clickable.
