Human Resources Software Freelance Journalist or Content Writer

Vantive Media is passionately seeking a full-time, part-time or freelance Human Resource journalist and business writer who can author articles, editorials, white papers, software reviews, special interest stories and similar media content about HR strategies, HR practices and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This journalist position is ideal for HR veterans coming from HRIS sales, analyst, consulting or project management careers and are now open to sharing their knowledge with user communities who can benefit from their insight.

The successful writer will possess a blended mix of HR strategy and HR software experience along with strong business writing skills. This is not a technology role, however, articulating HR software technology into business terms and value is essential. Direct experience in reviewing, selling or implementing market leading HR and payroll software systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Lawson or ADP is necessary for this role.

As a Vantive Media Human Resource executive, your media contribution will aid our readers and clients in making business sense of the HR software industry and help IT buyers make better IT purchase decisions. This position is eligible for very flexible working options, including working from home. For freelance candidates, compensation is commensurate with each journalistic piece. For full-time candidates, there is a compensation plan of $70,000 to $112,000 with a performance based bonus option. Exact compensation is commensurate with industry experience, writing skills and proposed contribution.
