Manufacturing Software Freelance Journalist or Content Writer

Vantive Media is enthusiastically seeking a full-time, part-time or freelance Manufacturing Software journalist and business writer who can author original and useful Manufacturing Strategy and Manufacturing Software articles, editorials, white papers, special interest stories and related media content. This position is ideal for Manufacturing software veterans previously employed in sales, analyst, implementation or project management roles and now looking to share their knowledge and insight with user communities.

The ideal candidate will offer a blend of manufacturing strategy and software industry experience along with strong business writing skills. A minimum of five full time years in the manufacturing industry and direct experience in either reviewing, selling or implementing market leading manufacturing software applications such as SAP, QAD, SSA, Infor, Oracle, JD Edwards and Epicor are necessary prerequisites for this role. This position offers flexible working options, including working from home or remotely. For freelance or part-time candidates, compensation is commensurate with each journalistic piece. For full-time candidates, there is a compensation plan of $81,000 to $116,000 with a performance based bonus. Exact compensation is commensurate with industry experience, manufacturing software expertise, writing skills and anticipated contribution.
